State Institutions-related Standing Committee On National Development And Heritage Of Parliament Visits Ë®¹ûÅÉ To Review Facilities And Operations

Today, the State Institutions-related Standing Committee on National Development and Heritage of the Parliament visited Ë®¹ûÅÉ as part of their review process for amending the University Bill. This bill proposes that colleges can achieve university status within 15 years, if they meet the requirement criteria set by the Attorney General.

The committee’s visit included an extensive tour of Ë®¹ûÅÉ’s state-of-the-art facilities, guided by Rector Dr. Ahmed Anwar and Vice Rector Dr. Ali Najeeb. During the tour, committee members received a detailed briefing on the college’s operations, resources, and academic programmes.

The Vice Rector, together with the academic staff, provided in-depth insight into the college’s resources and educational programmes, highlighting Ë®¹ûÅÉ’s capability to meet the proposed criteria for university status. This visit emphasises the pivotal role Ë®¹ûÅÉ plays in the national education system and reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence.

The committee’s review of the college is a key step in determining its eligibility for university status and ensuring it meets the proposed standards for higher education in the country.
