Ë®¹ûÅÉ and HA. Dhidhoo Council Sign MoU to Expand Higher Education Access on the Island

Ë®¹ûÅÉ and the HA. Dhidhdhoo Council has formalized a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding higher education opportunities in HA. Dhidhdhoo. The agreement was officially signed by Dr. Ali Najeeb, Vice Rector of Ë®¹ûÅÉ, and Mr. Abdulla Rasheed, President of the HA. Dhidhdhoo Council. This pivotal partnership will enable Ë®¹ûÅÉ to commence the delivery of its academic programs in HA. Dhidhdhoo starting with the May 2025 intake.

This strategic collaboration is designed to provide residents of HA. Dhidhdhoo with accessible pathways to tertiary education. The initiative is expected to play a crucial role in fostering local talent development and contributing to the socio-economic advancement of the island. 

Under the terms of the MoU, which spans an initial five-year period, the HA. Dhidhdhoo Council will facilitate appropriate premises for the educational activities. Ë®¹ûÅÉ will assume responsibility for the comprehensive delivery, academic management, and stringent quality assurance of its programs offered on the island.

This joint endeavor reflects a shared vision between both institutions to cultivate an educated and skilled populace. Ë®¹ûÅÉ is committed to ensuring that all programs offered in HA. Dhidhdhoo will adhere to its established high academic standards and meet all relevant regulatory requirements. Both Ë®¹ûÅÉ and the HA. Dhidhdhoo Council is dedicated to working collaboratively for the successful implementation and sustained operation of these educational programs.
